![]() WINDOW ON DIXON Dixon is more than just a town on busy Interstate 80. Within San Francisco Bay Area’s Solano County and only 22 miles from Sacramento, Dixon offers fine restaurants, motels and family fun! Our historic town center and May Fair complex are reflective of a 19th century rail-stop, agricultural center, and early 20th century “Lincoln Highway” crossroads community. The Dixon May Fair Parade is the oldest parade in the state of California and we just celebrated our 131st year! The same goes for the Dixon May Fair – which is the oldest fair in the state of California. Each year a different theme is decided upon and the parade and fair seem to get bigger and better each year! This year, the parade had over 150 entries and over 350,000 spectators! |
